China's Xi Jinping lands in North Korea for rare, high-stakes visit

Chinese President Xi Jinping has arrived in Pyongyang for a rare state visit, his first there in seven years. The visit is set to have big ramifications on bilateral ties and beyond as both countries hope to reignite their traditional alliance in the face of separate confrontations with the US.
